SpillLit participates in affiliate marketing programs with retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop.org, Kobo, and eBay. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These third-party retailers have their own terms and privacy policies, and SpillLit is not responsible for their practices, products, or services. Any disputes regarding purchases must be resolved directly with the retailer.
SpillLit offers paid subscription tiers ("Pro" and "Pro+") that unlock additional creator features. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay the fees displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your account settings or the payment provider. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change subscription fees upon reasonable notice; any change will apply to the next billing cycle.
The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by SpillLit and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent. "SpillLit," the SpillLit logo, and other SpillLit trademarks are the property of SpillLit and may not be used without permission.
SpillLit respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated agent. We will remove or disable access to infringing content upon receiving a valid notice. Accounts found to be repeat infringers will be terminated.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpillLit disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content, ratings, or reviews on the Service are accurate, reliable, or complete. User-generated ratings and reviews reflect the opinions of individual users and do not represent the views of SpillLit.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpillLit and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service — whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SpillLit and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your misuse of the Service.
You may delete your account at any time. SpillLit reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall remain in effect.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which SpillLit operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
